Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and technical skills to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and coordinate care plans. We are seeking energetic professionals committed to making a positive impact on patients’ lives through dedicated nursing practice. Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate care strategies.
Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic to document patient information, medical records, and treatment plans efficiently.
Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, cardiology (including catheterization), ophthalmology, or geriatrics based on your expertise and experience.
Assist with diagnostic procedures including phlebotomy, specimen collection, IV insertions, suturing, and wound care to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through medication administration and pain management protocols while ensuring patient comfort.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, triage assessments, and long-term care coordination to optimize patient outcomes.

Skills

Proven experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; EMR/EHR management skills are essential.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Demonstrated proficiency in various clinical procedures including IV infusion, catheterization (urinary or vascular), tube feeding management, ventilator support, and sterile processing.
Critical care experience in ICU or trauma centers (Level I or II trauma center preferred), with familiarity in trauma medicine and emergency response procedures.
Skilled in managing complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health issues, or dementia & Alzheimer’s care.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or hospital medicine units while maintaining high standards of patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent communication skills for patient education, medical documentation accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration across specialties like pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatology (including neonatal resuscitation), or occupational health.
