Chiropractic Assistant and Receptionist — Baxter, MN

We are hiring a part time, chiropractic assistant who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, who wants to make our patient’s lives better by getting to know and caring for them. If you can see yourself as a professional member of an elite pain management and wellness-maintenance health care team, please consider applying.

At Family Chiropractic in Baxter, you will be valued as an integral member of our chiropractic and acupuncture health care team, working closely with doctors, who serve as your professional, medical resource and offer guidance on techniques. You will be working directly with patients to help them achieve their health goals.

We provide a fun, varied work environment that could be satisfying and sustainable for the duration of your career. You will perform patient intake services, schedule and interact with patients in the reception area, and also provide chiropractic assistance in the patient treatment rooms. You will learn about: insurance requirements and compensations; health conditions and chiropractic treatment options; various health therapies; how to take patient history, blood pressure and vitals; and how to perform focused massage work.

This is physically sustainable, profitable work that is relational and personal, with a focus on medical treatment for improved health. We offer competitive pay starting at $16 and benefits including company retirement, paid vacation, and free massage and chiropractic care. Consistent high level performance will be rewarded with increased paid vacation and raises in compensation. The combination of sitting and standing activities associated with this job makes the work easy on the body long term.

Preferred applicants will enjoy engaging in a wide variety of tasks, be hardworking and professional, and will bring a sense of enjoyment to their work and environment. Knowledge of insurance is helpful, but not required. Healthcare experience is also helpful, but not required.

Required availability: All employees work one Saturday per month (7:30am - 12:30pm), and one evening shift per week (until 7:15 pm). Some shifts start at 7:00 am.
