Full Job Description

A growing and well-established organization is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial health of the business. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and partnering with operational leaders to achieve organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands-on financial management.

Essential Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
Assist with the development and management of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Supervise and develop accounting staff while promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations.
Perform additional financial analysis and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Three to five years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
