Full Job Description

Job Description: The Director of Informatics and Technology will be responsible for leading the data transformation, designing strategic data infrastructure and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities:

Lead data transformations that align clinical IT operations with value-based care reimbursement models.
Oversee data security, regulatory, physical and training.
Utilize knowledge of Managed Care to drive financial performance by reducing total cost of care while measurably improving patient health outcomes
Integrate disparate data streams including Electronic Health Records (EHR), medical claims, and social determinants of health (SDOH).
Deploy population health platforms to risk-stratify patient populations and identify high-cost, high-risk individuals.
Build real-time dashboards to close gaps in preventive care directly at the point of care.
Track quality metrics tied to financial incentives, including MIPS, HEDIS, and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) measures.
Enforce strict data standards to ensure clinical documentation accurately reflects DOH reporting requirements.
Champion clinical adoption of new IT workflows, translating complex data insights into actionable strategies.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

· Master’s Degree in related health, or business, or computer science

· 3+ years of experience required

· Extensive knowledge and understanding of social determinants of health, community-based organizations (CBOs), health equity, health care systems, and value-based purchasing (VBP) a strong plus

· Demonstrated experience preparing and presenting proposals, reports, updates, data, etc.

· Experience using health information systems databases, data visualization and AI use.

· Managed Care Experience preferred.

· Ability to perform and thrive in a team-based environment

· Demonstrated knowledge of continuous quality improvement techniques

Pay: $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
