Full Job Description

Pineland BHDD is seeking a compassionate and organized House Manager to oversee community-based residential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions.

The House Manager is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served while overseeing the daily operations of a community home. This includes coordinating services, managing staff, monitoring medical and behavioral supports, and ensuring compliance with agency, DBHDD, and Medicaid standards.

What You'll Do

Residential Leadership & Oversight

Oversee day-to-day operations of a community residential home
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and inspections

Case Management & Person-Centered Services

Coordinate and monitor Individual Service Plans (ISP), Treatment Plans, and Recovery Plans
Advocate for individuals and connect them with needed community resources

Health & Medical Coordination

Schedule and monitor medical, dental, and behavioral health appointments
Ensure physician orders, medication regimens, and follow-up care are completed
Monitor health assessments, screenings, and required documentation

Staff Leadership & Supervision

Supervise, coach, train, and support Individual Support Workers and direct care staff
Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care and accountability
Ensure staff understand and follow agency policies and procedures

Documentation & Compliance

Monitor documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and billing compliance
Review progress notes, medication records, activity logs, and service documentation
Ensure records are maintained according to Medicaid, agency, and regulatory standards
Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

Valid Georgia Driver's License
Associates Degree in related field preferred
At least one year of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities OR
One year experience in a closely related position within human services

Skills That Lead to Success

Strong leadership and staff development abilities
Case management and care coordination experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of developmental disabilities and behavioral health services
Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance standards
Basic computer proficiency, including: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Email and Electronic Medical Records (Therap)

Additional Information

Full-time position
Office hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility required to support a 24/7 residential program
Valid driver's license and transportation responsibilities required
Drug-free workplace; pre-employment screening required
