Full Job Description

About the Role:
We are a fast-paced, service-driven hospitality business seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining strong financial systems behind the scenes.

Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing daily financial operations including accounts payable and receivable,Daily cash reconcialtion, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is essential in supporting leadership with accurate, timely financial information to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using Quickbooks
Proficient in excel to Manage all spreadsheets related to daily operation
Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and vendor payments
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements monthly
Prepare and process payroll (in collaboration with HR/payroll service if applicable)
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Track inventory-related expenses and revenue (e.g., food, beverage, retail)
Support budgeting and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with sales tax and other applicable regulations
Organize and maintain all financial documentation and support year-end tax preparation

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Proficient with accounting software QuickBooks, POS systems, Excel])
Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Strong organizational and communication skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required

Preferred Experience:

Inventory tracking or cost management
Payroll processing and compliance knowledge
Familiarity with hospitality-based reporting and POS systems
