Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your career by supporting a dynamic imaging department as an MRI Technologist for a summer contract in a high-demand medical setting. This vital role focuses on delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging to assist patient care. The department seeks a skilled professional ready to commit to a consistent three-day-a-week schedule throughout the summer.

Schedule:

3 days per week: Wednesday – Friday
12-hour day shifts
No call and no weekends required

Key Qualifications:

Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
Demonstrated proficiency in MRI studies, including routine and advanced imaging techniques
Recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively within healthcare teams
Commitment to patient safety and high standards of care

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and facility protocols
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and follow proper patient identification processes
Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions promptly
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to all infection control, safety standards, and privacy regulations
