iFurnish Steamboat is looking for friendly, motivated Sales & Design Associate to join our team. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.
iFurnish is a small, family-owned furniture business, and we pride ourselves on creating a comfortable, no-pressure shopping experience for our customers—and a positive, team-oriented environment for our employees. Our sales associates do not work on commission, so the focus is on helping customers find the right pieces for their homes rather than making a sale at all costs.
What You'll Do
- Assist walk-in customers with furniture selection, design ideas, and purchasing decisions
- Work with customers by phone and email
- Help customers coordinate furniture, colors, styles, and room layouts
- Learn our furniture lines, products, pricing, and ordering processes
- Follow up with customers and assist with sales from start to finish
- Help maintain an organized, attractive, and welcoming showroom
- Pitch in with day-to-day store tasks as needed
- Work collaboratively with the entire iFurnish team
Who We're Looking For
Furniture sales, interior design, retail, or customer service experience ispreferred but not required. We are happy to train the right person.

- Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service
- Has an interest in furniture, home décor, and/or interior design
- Is willing and eager to learn
- Communicates well in person, over the phone, and through email
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative
- Is flexible and willing to help with a variety of tasks in a small-business environment
- Gets along well with coworkers and contributes to a positive workplace
Because we are a small, family-owned business, flexibility is important. Everyone on our team pitches in, and day-to-day responsibilities may vary depending on what the store and our customers need.
Location Requirement
Applicants MUST currently reside in the Yampa Valley OR be actively planning to relocate and have proof of secured housing (lease or mortgage).
Please do not apply if you are considering relocating to the area but have not yet secured housing.
Store Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Availability during store hours, including Saturdays, is important.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
