Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and welding steel pipe. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Summary of Major Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assemble pipe components by tacking them in place prior to welding.
- Confirming squareness of all joints fit up.
- Confirming pipe joints are aligned properly
- Verify correct length prior to tacking.
- Confirm pipe is straight before welding
- This job involves a variety of other jobs such as welding, cutting, grinding, measurement.
- Keep work area clean and organized to prevent slips and trips.
- Conducts work safely and follows all safety procedures. Rejects work that is not safe and discusses the situation with supervisor.
HOURS
First Shift Monday-Friday 6a.m to 5p.m.
Lunch is from 11:30a.m. to 12:30p.m. Employee will be paid for 30 minutes.
