Office Manager in Austin, TX 78758

Salary:

$100k/year depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily financial, administrative, and human resources operations of our growing organization. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records for a multi-million-dollar company.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping activities for a multi-million-dollar company.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Coordinate with the company's CPA regarding tax preparation and financial reporting.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgets.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Human Resources

Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
Administer employee benefits and coordinate enrollments.
Support recruiting efforts and coordinate interviews.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Assist management with employee relations and HR administration.

Office Administration

Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
Manage office supplies, vendors, and service providers.
Coordinate office maintenance and facility needs.
Develop and improve office procedures and workflows.
Support company leadership with administrative projects.
Maintain confidential company and employee information.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience.
Experience managing the financial operations of a mid-sized to large business.
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting systems.
Previous Human Resources experience.
Experience supporting executive leadership.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
