Description:

Join a team dedicated to getting customer orders ready for shipment all over the world. We offer a different kind of distribution center experience! This is an on-site Assembly position in our Sterling, IL fulfillment center, responsible for packaging packets and boxes based on information received from warehouse sheets while ensuring the accuracy of packaging lists and items included in shipment. This opening is for 1st shift, working Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm CT under the supervision of the Team Lead and Production Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

Interprets information on warehouse sheet for production of packets/magic boxes
Surveys materials prior to assembly (kitting) to ensure all supplies meet minimum approved inspection standards
Use excel spreadsheet to keep track of the kitting projects and update when as needed
Request additional materials when damages or shortages are identified
Works within group setting to distribute assembly responsibilities to ensure timely completion of projects
Interfaces with Team Lead to ensure inaccuracies and inequities are addressed and resolved
Responsible for proper maintenance of work area
Ensures accuracy of packing list and items included in shipment
Notifies Team Lead and/or Supervisor upon project completion
Perform other duties as needed and directed by the Team Lead and Supervisor

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic Microsoft Excel experience required
Prior warehouse and shipping experience preferred
Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data
Have good judgement and be proactive under challenging circumstances
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Work well in a collaborative team environment

Compensation: The pay rate for this role is $15.00 per hour. Please note that this pay serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US.
