Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Hairstylist/Cosmetologist and unleash your creativity in a dynamic, client-focused environment! In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair and beauty services, including styling, coloring, extensions and etc while providing outstanding customer service. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise with various techniques such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care. We’re looking for passionate professionals eager to inspire confidence and beauty in every client. This paid position offers a chance to grow your skills with access to cutting-edge salon software like MINDBODY and store management tools, all while creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Duties

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and special treatments using advanced techniques like balayage or highlights.
Provide grooming services such as straight razor shaves and barbering to meet diverse client needs.
Deliver beauty enhancements through makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading.
Utilize salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client profiles, and processing retail sales efficiently.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations.
Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable products and upsell retail items confidently while ensuring excellent customer service.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and supporting store management operations to ensure smooth daily flow.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in color theory, retail math, and advanced styling techniques to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology license.
Proficiency in hair coloring techniques, hair extensions application, and styling tools.
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike.
Demonstrated ability in retail sales, upselling products, and retail math calculations to meet sales goals.
Expertise in sanitation practices adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
