Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team for a part-time contingent position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine medication needs and potential interactions.
Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient counseling.
Administer immunizations and educate patients on vaccine options.
Support critical care initiatives by collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and providing medication-related information.
Compounding medications as needed while adhering to aseptic technique standards.
Manage inventory effectively to ensure the availability of necessary medications and supplies.
Utilize pharmacy software for accurate record-keeping, prescription processing, and medication dispensing.

Experience
Candidates should possess relevant knowledge in pharmacy setting, proficiency in patient care practices. Familiarity with retail pharmacy environment, and inventory management is highly desirable. A strong understanding of pharmacy software systems is essential for efficient operations. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to enhancing patient health outcomes through quality pharmaceutical care. Fresh graduates also considered.
