The Exercise Specialist is responsible for the general supervision of the fitness center, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and clean all fitness equipment and facility areas.
- Greet guests, explain programs and activities, and provide guidance on equipment usage.
- Assist members with exercises, equipment and general exercise recommendations
- Report and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform fitness orientations for new members
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations in a tactful manner.
- Monitor the safety and cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to scheduled work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Meet regularly with supervisor to review duties and performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
