As a Compliance & Development Analyst Senior you will provide administrative support around the Department of Insurance Complaint process for the organization.
This position will be located in Madison, WI, Stevens Point, WI, Freeport, IL or Nashville, TN and is not a remote opportunity.

What You'll Do
As a Compliance and Development Analyst Senior, you will:
Track all incoming complaints from receipt through response, including but not limited to, complaints received from all Departments of Insurance, complaints received through the company’s email system, and complaints received from all social media sites, and telephone complaints received through the consumer concern telephone number.
Facilitate tracking and timely responses, tracks, reports and dissipate information.
Maintains complaint database of complaint information including date received, due date for response, complaint type, responding department, fines or other financial implications associated with the complaint.
Interacts with department contacts within each department to coordinate the preparation of responses to the complaints and ensure all due date deadlines are met.
Contact and communicate with representatives of many state Departments of Insurance during handling complaints.
Drafts correspondence and other documents and reports as required.
Responsible for preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly complaint reports to leadership team.
Performs general administrative tasks, including but not limited to, distributing mail, maintaining filing system for all complaints and responses, copying, scanning and faxing documents as needed.
Attend weekly/monthly team meetings to address any training issues and share complaint metrics/trends
Assist and gather documents required for various state audits.
Maintain current knowledge of coverages and various state and federal regulations to ensure legal compliance and adherence of Sentry products.
Identify and recommend technological solutions to enhance compliance monitoring, reporting, and efficiency.
Additionally, you will:
Establish effective communications with internal functions, industry contacts, state insurance departments, and industry bureaus.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
What it Takes
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in insurance compliance, product development, or a related regulatory role within the property & casualty insurance industry.
2+ years of related work experience
Previous experience with automobile insurance carriers, non-standard auto insurance carriers preferred
Ability to analyze and interpret relevant laws to determine the compliance impact to the business
Position requires the ability to provide oral and written communication regarding compliance or legal issues to various departments and levels of management as well as state departments of insurance
Demonstrated technical understanding of Business or Consumer insurance products
Previous experience as a compliance or forms analyst, an underwriter or claims/policy benefits file handler
Communication, writing and human relation skills
Insurance course work.
Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position is: $61,900-$92,900 annually.
