We are seeking a passionate and energetic Education Program Coordinator to develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging educational programs that help youth achieve academic success and personal growth. The ideal candidate will create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment while building positive relationships with youth, families, volunteers, and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and a commitment to serving young people.

Plan, organize, and implement educational programs, services, and activities that prepare youth for success.

Recruit Club members into education programs and encourage active participation.

Develop engaging learning opportunities that support academic achievement and personal development.

Submit biweekly schedules outlining daily program activities to the Center Director.

Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations and adjustments based on member needs and program goals.

Create and maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all members.

Supervise youth in assigned program areas and throughout the facility.

Build supportive, positive relationships with Club members.

Serve as a positive role model and mentor.

Utilize appropriate group and individual behavior management techniques to encourage positive behaviors.

Follow established guidance and discipline policies.

Celebrate and recognize educational achievements by displaying member successes within program areas and throughout the Club.

Create an inviting and engaging Education room atmosphere through decorations, posted expectations, and member recognition displays.

Foster a positive culture that encourages participation, achievement, and personal growth.

Respond to communications promptly and professionally.

Submit requests for program supplies and materials at least one week in advance.

Manage the organization and inventory of supplies, materials, equipment, and resources within the education program area.

Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of program spaces and assist with facility cleaning checklists.

Manage assigned volunteers, providing direction, support, and ongoing feedback.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience working with youth in educational, recreational, after-school, or community-based programs.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively supervise and engage groups of youth.

Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field.

Experience with program planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Knowledge of youth behavior management techniques and positive youth development practices.

Experience managing volunteers or leading group activities.
