Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations, with experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic food service operation, ensuring high-quality meal production and excellent customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to support culinary excellence.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and storage procedures.
Support meal preparation for various service types, including catering events if applicable.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing knife skills and other culinary techniques.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Assist in plating and presentation of dishes to meet aesthetic standards.
Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining environment.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to adapt recipes accordingly is a plus.
Good communication skills and teamwork orientation to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
