Cornerstone Clinic is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and fully licensed mental health therapist to join our team in Plover, Wisconsin.
This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced clinician who wants professional autonomy, meaningful support, and the opportunity to provide high-quality care within an independent, locally owned mental health clinic. Position Responsibilities
The therapist will:
- Provide individual, couples, family, or group psychotherapy based on training and professional competence
- Complete diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and patient-centered mental health treatment
- Maintain a consistent full-time caseload
- Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation
- Assess safety concerns and participate in safety planning when needed
- Coordinate care with medical providers, schools, community agencies, and other professionals when appropriate and authorized
- Maintain professional boundaries and comply with ethical, legal, licensing, and confidentiality requirements
- Participate in clinical consultation and staff meetings
- Help patients identify meaningful goals, strengthen coping skills, and make sustainable progress
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related mental health field
- An active, unrestricted Wisconsin license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
- The ability to practice independently without clinical supervision
- Eligibility to enroll and remain credentialed with commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare when applicable
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional boundaries
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable and timely documentation practices
This position is intended for a fully licensed clinician. Applicants who currently hold a training license, including an LPC-IT, APSW, or LMFT-IT, will not meet the licensing requirements for this particular opening.
Preferred Qualifications
We are especially interested in candidates who have experience, training, or a strong professional interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Assessment and treatment of eating disorders or disordered eating
- Substance use disorder treatment, including co-occurring mental health concerns
- Providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents
- Family therapy, parent support, or coordination with schools and other community providers
- Evidence-based treatment approaches appropriate for these populations
- Experience working within an integrated or multidisciplinary behavioral health setting
- Interest in developing specialty services, therapy groups, or community-based programs
Experience in all of these areas is not required. Candidates who bring strength in even one of these specialties are encouraged to apply, as Cornerstone Clinic is seeking to expand access to services that are currently limited within our team. We are most interested in finding an ethical, clinically skilled therapist who communicates well, follows through on responsibilities, and genuinely cares about helping patients.
Schedule and Location
- Full-time position
- Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Primarily based at our Plover, Wisconsin clinic
- Schedule developed collaboratively based on clinic needs, patient demand, and provider availability
- Some telehealth work may be available when clinically appropriate
- Some availability during high-demand appointment times is preferred
- Evening availability is welcomed but is not required unless mutually agreed upon
Compensation and Benefits
- Commission-based compensation, with the structure reviewed in detail during the second interview
- Reimbursement of 50% of approved continuing education expenses
- Administrative support for billing, scheduling, credentialing, and patient communication

Final compensation will be based on licensure, experience, schedule, and the services provided.
