Full Job Description

Work site: 1725 West River Drive, Stevens Point, WI

Start Date: As soon as possible

Starting Pay: $18.98-$20.88 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Benefits: Paid time off, holidays, 401K (6% match), life insurance, access to health, dental, vision and disability insurance.

Duties: The Housing Program Assistant provides administrative and program support for housing stability and housing assistance services. Using a trauma informed approach, this position is responsible for processing applications to determine eligibility, aligning client resources and facilitating direct and in-direct financial assistance for qualified households.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in business, human services or related field plus one year of related experience, or high school diploma and plus three years of related experience.
Experience with housing assistance, income eligibility calculations, and/or case management is preferred.
Moderate proficiency in Office 365 Suite, and database management software.
General practical knowledge and/or experience with coordinated entry systems, assessments, referrals and client prioritization.
A qualified candidate must demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and organization in all aspects of their work.
