Full Job Description

Long-term Part-Time | 30-35 Hours/Week | [Maplewood, MN]

Are you someone who enjoys helping people and want to work in a modern Eye clinic utilizing the state-of-the-art technology? Our optometry office is looking for an Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering modern eye care by supporting both in-person patients and remote optometrists through digital tools.

What You'll Do

Guide Patients Through Pretesting
Use high-tech equipment to perform vision screenings, retinal imaging, and other diagnostics before the eye exam.
Assist During Remote Exams

Help patients connect with remote optometrists during telehealth eye exams and ensure the experience is smooth and comfortable.

Support the Front Desk

Greet patients, schedule appointments, manage check-in and check-out, and answer phone calls with warmth and professionalism. Enter and update patient information in our electronic system accurately and securely. Instruct patients on how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses as part of their treatment plan. Sanitize equipment, stock exam rooms, and help manage clinic supplies.

Previous experience in optometry is a plus.

Job Details

Long-Term Part-time: 30–35 hours/week
Office hours: 10AM–6PM, Monday–Saturday
Must be available for 3–4 shifts per week, including at least one Saturday/month
Occasional additional hours may be available
