Full Job Description

JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) is a growing company located in Lathrop, CA that designs, manufactures, and sells performance and OEM replacement parts for Audis and Volkswagens. We sell online and over-the-phone retail but are also a full service, performance and repair shop. For Audis and Volkswagens, we perform everything from regularly scheduled maintenance to transmission rebuilds to supercharger kit installations. Additionally, about 70% of our service work is performed on S model and RS model Audis with some A models and VW mixed in. We are not your average service shop!

Starting salary will be based on the position, our current needs, previous experience, and interview performance.

Are you not located near JH Motorsports, but are interested in one or more of our available positions? That’s okay! If you are willing to relocate, we are willing to help. We have had employees relocate from as close as Nevada and as far away as Pennsylvania! If this is something you are interested in, we have a two week employment trial available. This allows you to see if relocating to our area may work for you and helps you get a feel for your new career without any large commitments. We have had great success with employees who have relocated after doing the two week trial, so if you are interested in any of our available position(s), please feel free to apply for any of the positions below and notify us that you are interested in the two week relocation trial as well.

Performance Sales and Customer Service Associate

Are you technically competent with cars, able to help write up sales orders, work orders and estimates for customers? Can you multi-task, communicate well and enjoy a fast paced environment? JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM), a “started from scratch” business since 2006, is a rapidly expanding company in Lathrop, CA that designs, manufactures and sells performance and OEM replacement parts for Audi’s and Volkswagens. JHM is an online and over the phone retailer with a full service and repair shop on premise. Basically…an R&D center, parts center and a service shop on steroids all combined in one! Hardworking, dedicated and passionate are some of the words that describe the culture at JHM. Many of the employees have been there since its inception, and it is a passionate and team work environment that allows employees to thrive and truly enjoy their work.

As a Customer Liason at JHM, you are the go between the customer and the service shop / parts store. You will get involved with everything…including sales/customer service/technical support, test driving vehicles, educating and keeping customers up to date and tracking repair status. Your job is to make sure you listen to customers, communicate their needs to the right people, and upmost make sure their needs are fully taken care of. You will prepare sales orders, work orders, estimates as well as keeping detailed records and helping to schedule and distribute work to staff. You are truly the “Liason”. JHM’s reputation is being an industry expert on Audi/Volkswagen service…and you will need to uphold that image.

Qualifications and requirements:

Knowledge of Audi/VW/Porsche cars and parts(Preferred)
Good overall mechanical aptitude, and ability to understand how automotive parts and systems work.
Experience in sales and customer service.
Excellent customer service skills
Drive for positive and professional communication with others, both team members and customers.
Ability to multi-task
Quality focus
Communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
