About Us:
Proveri Pharmacy Services provides exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients in hospice and long-term care settings. We value teamwork, accuracy, compassion, and strong relationships with our clients. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician who can combine technical expertise with excellent customer service and account management skills, helping us deliver seamless care to our patients and partner facilities.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with at least 2 years of experience in long-term care pharmacy who thrives in a client-facing, service-oriented role. The ideal candidate will be licensed in California, experienced in pharmacy insurance processes, and comfortable interacting with patients, families, and partner facilities. In this role, you will serve as both a pharmacy technician and an account liaison, ensuring that medications are accurately prepared and delivered while maintaining strong relationships, resolving issues, and providing timely support. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering trust, improving client satisfaction, and supporting a culture of safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a primary point of contact for partner facilities, patients, and families, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on pharmacy services
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and smooth communication
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for long-term care patients
Verify and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Maintain medication inventory and manage stock levels to prevent interruptions in care
Prepare medication orders in compliance with state and federal regulations
Process pharmacy-related insurance tasks, including prescription billing, claims management, and prior authorizations
Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
Support onboarding of new facilities or patients, helping them navigate pharmacy services and requirements
Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and internal workflows, communicating suggestions to management
Assist with documentation, record-keeping, and quality assurance initiatives
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with pharmacy regulations, technology, and best practices

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in California – required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care pharmacy, including data entry
Knowledge of pharmacy insurance processes, including billing and claims management
Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Strong customer service and account management skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships
Ability to multitask and handle both technical pharmacy duties and client-facing responsibilities
