Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a personal injury law firm and be fluent in both English and Spanish. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage all aspects of personal injury cases from intake to settlement.

Responsibilities

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case progress in both English and Spanish.
Case Management: Manage and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documents, medical records, and reports are collected and filed accurately within Filevine.
Document Preparation: Assist with drafting legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and correspondence.
Medical Liaison: Communicate with medical providers to request and obtain medical records, billing statements, and treatment notes.
Insurance Company Communication: Act as a liaison with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and manage claims.
Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing for hearings or depositions.
Intake: Conduct initial client interviews in both English and Spanish to gather relevant information and assess case viability.

Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal injury case manager or paralegal.
Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, with the ability to read, write, and speak professionally in both languages.
Legal Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in legal case management software, specifically Filevine.
Education: A bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of personal injury law, legal procedures, and medical terminology.
Attributes: Must be compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Compensation

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
