As a Client Support Specialist (Software), you'll be on the front lines—learning our proprietary MDS Explorer system inside and out, helping high-level clients solve complex issues, and playing a direct role in improving the product itself. In time, you’ll become an expert, and you’ll never stop learning.

This is more than a job—it’s a launchpad. Whether you’re interested in product, consulting, QA, or sales, the skills you develop in this role open doors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Be the voice of MDS as you support clients via phone and email
Attend daily stand-up meetings (virtually and onsite) with your team to tackle issues head-on
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, with guidance from our development team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Training, Programming, and QA teams
Test new product features and software upgrades (and break them before our clients do)
Advocate for customers and help shape the future of the product
Stay organized, juggle priorities, and always follow through

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A growth mindset—you’re energized by learning difficult things
Confidence speaking with executives and experienced users
Tech-savvy with prior helpdesk or support experience is a bonus but not necessary! We train all new-hires through an extensive 3-month training program.
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving instincts
Solid follow-up and organizational habits
Bonus points if you have a basic understanding of accounting principles

WHO YOU ARE

You’re the go-to person when someone needs help troubleshooting. You’re curious, self-motivated, and undeterred by messy problems. You’re the type of person who finds satisfaction in tough solutions, keeps asking "why," and doesn’t give up until things are working just right.

WORK STRUCTURE & BENEFITS

Hybrid role: 3 days/week on-site in Long Island (potentially 5 days/week during training period)
