Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile audiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive audiology care services, diagnosing and treating hearing disorders, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Duties

Conduct thorough audiology examinations to assess hearing and detect ear diseases. using remote system working with medical assistant on site at patients homes
Diagnose audiology issues and prescribe corrective devices
Educate patients and caregivers on hearing health and auditory care
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper hearing care practices and the importance of regular audiology exams.

Skills

Strong knowledge of audiology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in audiology experience, including fitting hearing aids.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records.
Knowledge of medical coding practices is beneficial.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.

Requirements

Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree
Active New York state license to practice Audiology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable working independently in mobile environments
Reliable transportation
