This position is tenure-track with an anticipated start date of August 2027. Candidates with significant professional experience and a master's degree may also be considered for a non-tenure-track appointment.

Serve as a lead faculty member within the marketing program.

Influence the future direction of marketing education at BVU.

Develop innovative courses that reflect emerging trends in digital marketing, analytics, consumer behavior, AI-enabled marketing, branding, and strategic communications.

Build partnerships with businesses and industry leaders that create meaningful learning opportunities for students.

Mentor students as they prepare for careers in marketing, sales, advertising, entrepreneurship, and related fields.

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach 12 credit hours during both fall and spring semesters.

Deliver engaging student-centered instruction in marketing courses and the business core curriculum.

Incorporate experiential and project-based learning opportunities into coursework.

Help lead the ongoing review, enhancement, and modernization of the marketing curriculum.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and success.

Mentor and advise students regarding academic, professional, and career development.

Supervise student projects, internships, and student organizations as appropriate.

Build and maintain relationships with marketing professionals, agencies, corporations, entrepreneurs, and community organizations.

Facilitate internship, networking, and career opportunities for students.

Remain professionally active through scholarship, industry engagement, certifications, consulting, professional development, or other relevant activities.

Participate in university service, including committee assignments, academic advising, and departmental initiatives.

Assist with student recruitment and represent the University at outreach and admissions events.
Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in marketing or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Demonstrated ability or strong potential to provide high-quality undergraduate instruction.

Commitment to student mentoring, advising, and professional development.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and external partners.

Commitment to engaging and supporting students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Preferred Qualification

Doctorate in Marketing or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
-
Professional experience in marketing, advertising, digital marketing, sales, brand management, market research, analytics, communications, entrepreneurship, or related fields.

Postsecondary teaching experience.

Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online environments.

Experience developing industry partnerships, internships, or experiential learning opportunities.

Evidence of scholarship, consulting, professional leadership, or other meaningful contributions to the field.
