Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist who will be trained to become an Optometric Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the optometry field with on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage inquiries
Assist with medical records management and data entry
Handle retail sales transactions for optical products
Utilize medical terminology accurately in patient interactions
Learn to perform pre-testing procedures for eye examinations under the guidance of experienced technicians
Provide support to Optometrists during exams as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and exam rooms

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, speaks Spanish
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
