Summary
Lofty Homes is a wholesale commercial and home remodeling, high-quality construction, installation, and renovation company that operates in New England and provides an expansive range of supplies, sales, and installation services with top-quality cabinetry (Lofty Homes), custom Lofty LVT flooring, and granite and quartz countertops fabrication in-house (Lofty Surfaces).
We are driven to find the most talented Kitchen & Bath Sales Design Professional who strives to provide the best customer sales experience possible. Using your creative and innovative interior design skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a personal approach, you will assist our clients in creating the enhanced kitchen and bath they envision.
Primary Duties
· Work with clients to design kitchens, bathrooms, room additions, and/or remodel projects.
· Greet clients at the design center, brainstorm creative design plans and prospective ideas together.
· Provide product recommendations and assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, and fixtures.
· Develop models utilizing ProKitchen design software to create 2D and 3D renderings of kitchen designs.
· Prepare accurate cost estimates and present design proposals for remodeling projects.
· Conduct on-site visits to take measurements, perform inspections, and assess existing layouts.
· Arrange project and sub-contractor schedules, purchase project materials, and manage project by coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.
· Train and support a Business Development Assistant to design, sell, and contribute to reach company goals.
· Track daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and their relationship to margin goals.
· Solicit new accounts and prospect for new projects.
· Develop relationships with clients and focus on generating future referral business.
Other Responsibilities
· Act as the liaison between the customer, material vendors, and subcontractors.
· Be knowledgeable of pricing multipliers and current lead times for all cabinet lines, countertop fabricators, and miscellaneous products available.
· Learn the warranty policies of all items sold and be able to order such items when requested.
· Review assigned accounts to ensure payments and credits are processed in an accurate and timely manner while keeping all information highly confidential.
· Attend industry networking events and stay updated on current design trends and industry advancements.
· Maintain a clean, neat, professional looking showroom.
Background Profile
· Minimum 2 years of relationship sales and/or customer service experience required.
· Prior working experience in kitchen and bathroom design ideal, but not necessary (i.e.- ability to explain the differences in cabinet lines to customers).
· General knowledge of construction design and building materials (i.e.- countertop products, cultured marble, sinks, and faucets).
· Versed in kitchen renovation processes, cabinet design, product offerings, trends, materials, color, finishes, and related vendors.
· Excellent project management skills in planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Follow up with customers and builders to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner.
· Clear, professional communication skills (verbal & written) and excellent interpersonal abilities.
· Extremely high commitment to customer satisfaction and high sense of self responsibility.
· Proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, & Excel.
· Basic math skills for accurate measurements, cost calculations, and gross profit.
· Ability to negotiate, close deals, and achieve sales goals.
· Proficiency with ProKitchen Design Software helpful, but other design software acceptable as well.
· Valid Driver’s license with clean and clear driving record.
Education
· BA in Marketing or equivalent work experience

· Monday – Friday, usually 7:00am-3:00pm (weekends only if necessary)
· Physical demands include sitting for extended periods of time, standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
· Must pass a background check and/or drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
