We are seeking Individuals with a variety of expertise and experience levels to work in a pleasant and rewarding workplace to augment our current staff where they can continue to grow in their expertise while enjoying commensurate compensation and benefits.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator / Tool Maker to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe as well as assist with variuos tasks in the shop when lathe work has slowed.

We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Operator / Tool Maker to set up, program, and maintain Wire EDM as well as assist with variuos tasks in the shop when wire work has slowed.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator / Tool Maker (Horizontal & Vertical) to operate and maintain Cnc machines to produce precision parts for diecast dies and plastic molds with tight tolerances.

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to lead projects in coordination with engineering' the ideal candidate will read and interpret blueprints, perform quality inspections, and ensure efficient, safe production while meeting tight tolerances and deadlines.

We are seeking an Apprentice to learn the Tool and Die trade. The ideal candidate will have their GED and mechnical apptitude to learn at an entry level position eventually becoming a journeyman tool maker. Fremar offers an entry into an apprentice program.

Qualifications: (Excluding Apprentice)

1–2+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and blueprints.

Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.

Familiarity with CNC programming basics (G-code) and machine setup.

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining preferred).

Measure finished parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM, etc.) to verify conformance to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on machines.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE, etc.).

Document production records, inspection results, and material usage.

Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality control teams.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with Mori Seiki CNC Lathe.

Experience with Makino CNC. (Horizontal & Vertical)

Experience with Charmilles Wire EDM.

Knowledge of or other CAM software.

Forklift or overhead crane certification.
