Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote positive behavior, and collaborate with families and staff to support each child's growth. Your energetic approach will help create a vibrant learning atmosphere where children feel safe, motivated, and excited to explore their world. Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development principles and innovative learning technology tools.
Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages social-emotional growth and academic curiosity.
Assess individual student progress through ongoing student performance data analysis and formative assessments, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
Implement evidence-based academic interventions and Multi-tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) strategies to support diverse learners, including those with disabilities or special needs.
Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design, curriculum enhancements, and classroom management techniques to ensure consistency and high-quality teaching practices.
Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, behavior management plans, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
Maintain compliance with educational regulations and licensing requirements while fostering a positive classroom culture rooted in Montessori or other child-centered philosophies.

Skills

Extensive experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or toddler care with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment-driven instruction, and the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student progress.
Knowledge of literacy education, math instruction for young children, physical education activities, and library services tailored for preschoolers.
Ability to design instructional activities that incorporate instructional design techniques and educational technology tools effectively.
Skilled in classroom management, conflict resolution, behavior management strategies, and implementing positive reinforcement techniques.
Experience working with students with disabilities or special needs; familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is preferred.
Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, staff, and community partners; capable of writing clear reports and educational documentation.
Understanding of educational compliance standards related to private schools or early childhood programs; knowledge of Montessori or other specialized pedagogies is advantageous.
