The Position – Electrician (Travel)
We are seeking an efficient and professional Electrician, preferrable with commercial and/or industrial experience who is willing to travel. Typical travel is within the state of Florida, working Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Most of our electricians able to commute back home each Thursday evening or Friday morning to enjoy a 3-day weekend. Employees receive hotel, food and company van paid for by the company. We specialize in generator installations, UPS systems, and other specialty electrical installations. Our electricians typically operate unsupervised in teams or two or three with an emphasis on high quality work and safety. We are not a large-scale production contractor. The day-to-day tasks of the Industrial Electrician
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, panels, and components in commercial or industrial environments
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using meters, test equipment, and schematics to identify faults and restore operation
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment failures and downtime
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to complete work accurately and safely
- Assemble, wire, and service control panels, motors, and low‑voltage systems as required by the job
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for tracking, reporting, and compliance purposes
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to plan work, communicate issues, and meet schedules
Key Characteristics of the Industrial Electrician
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Consistently demonstrated skill in identifying electrical faults, diagnosing system issues, and resolving problems efficiently in industrial environments
- Commitment to safety and code compliance Proven adherence to OSHA standards, NEC requirements, and jobsite safety practices, often supported by formal safety certifications
- Technical proficiency with industrial systems Hands‑on experience working with industrial electrical systems such as panels, motors, control equipment, power distribution, and low‑voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

- Reliability, professionalism, and work ethic
Preferred Credentials
*Formal Electrical certifications and/or licenses (Journeyman and/or Master level proficiency), a bachelor’s degree in a related electrical field or construction management or relatable equivalent on-the-job experience
Demonstrated dependability, pride in workmanship, and commitment to completing work safely, correctly, and on schedule in demanding industrial settings· Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.
· 5-10+ years of experience working as an electrician with viable skills and troubleshooting capabilities
· OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification a plus (but can complete when hired)
· Other duties as assigned.

Pay
· Job Type: Full-time
· Pay: Competitive Salary and comprehensive benefits package
· Bonuses: Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of the company); target annual bonus is $5,000.00 per year
Vacation and Holiday
· 7 days Paid Time Off (PTO) (includes both vacation and sick time); employees receive 12 days of PTO after 5 years of service, PLUS.
· 9 Major Holidays paid (New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve)
· Eau Gallie Electric Bonus Week (1 additional week of Paid Time Off (PTO) during the week between Christmas and New Years to spend with your family and friends).
