Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging, initiate medical tests, administer medications both orally and intramuscularly, obtain vital sign/medical history, perform phlebotomy, assist with procedures, etc. (URGENT CARE DUTIES). This candidate will also obtain high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role is crucial in supporting medical care in an Urgent Care environment.

Duties

Obtain high quality X-rays.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols while obtaining patient imaging.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Assess patient history and perform necessary evaluation.
Document accurately in the patient's medical record.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Evaluation and management of Urgent Care patients.

Experience

Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably Urgent Care.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles.
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and protocols related to medical procedures.
Phlebotomy, performing acute care testing, IM injections
Florida state RT license
