Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their well-being while also delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners.

Duties

Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure safety and socialization.
Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including dog areas, play equipment, and restrooms.
Administer basic pet care tasks such as feeding, nail trims, and bathing as needed.
Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
Assist in training and socializing dogs using positive reinforcement techniques.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' activities and needs.
Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving dog crates or supplies.

Requirements

Previous experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred.
Knowledge of dog training techniques and basic veterinary care is a plus.
Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable.
Familiarity with pet grooming practices is beneficial.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain physical stamina throughout the workday.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
