Your Impact and Responsibilities
-
Install various fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge configurations
-
Interpret blueprints, project schedules, and technical shop drawings to ensure accurate installation
-
Cut, groove, thread, and assemble both steel and CPVC piping systems
-
Help ensure the safety and reliability of fire protection by installing pumps, hydrants, and underground mains
-
Perform essential system repairs, troubleshooting, and routine modifications
-
Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all NFPA and local code requirements

Collaborate effectively with General Contractors, Foremen, and Project Managers

Participate in safety meetings to help maintain a safe jobsite for all personnel
-
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure work is performed efficiently and safely
-
Support project closeout activities, including punch-list completion and system testing
-
Travel to various project sites throughout the Treasure Coast and Florida as required

Help mentor and train apprentices to build a stronger, more skilled team

Lead crews and coordinate daily work activities when assigned
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of professional Fire Sprinkler Pipefitting experience
-
Proven ability to groove, thread, and install sprinkler piping
-
Solid understanding of NFPA standards and codes
-
Proficiency in reading sprinkler drawings and construction plans
-
Strong grasp of industry-standard installation practices
-
Reliable personal transportation
-
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
-
Ability to pass background checks for government and school projects
-
Flexibility to work weekends, nights, or overtime as needed

Willingness to travel to meet project demands

Strong work ethic and professional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on school construction sites

Background in crew leadership or Foreman duties

Experience with federal, military, or government projects

Current NICET certification
