Full Job Description

We’re seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with Medical Assistant credentials who is fluent in Spanish and English. This is a dual-role position: you’ll manage front-office operations while also providing clinical support as needed, making you a key part of our patient care team.

Responsibilities

Front Desk:

Greet and check in/out patients in a warm, professional manner
Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
Maintain and update patient records (EHR)
Communicate with Spanish-speaking patients to ensure clear understanding of instructions, forms, and billing

Medical Assistant Support:

Room patients and record vital signs (blood pressure, height, weight, temperature)
Assist providers with basic clinical procedures as needed
Prepare exam rooms and maintain supply inventory
Administer point-of-care testing or injections as directed (per state scope of practice)
Relay patient messages and lab results under provider guidance

Qualifications

Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) — required
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) — required
Prior experience in a medical office or front desk setting preferred
Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., [Epic, Athenahealth, etc.])
Strong interpersonal, multitasking, and organizational skills
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
