Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warrior Taphouse Kitchen Supervisor and Lead Cook to lead our culinary team with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. This vital role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on kitchen management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage food production and safety procedures, and support team development to uphold our standards of culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include supervising food preparation and service, maintaining inventory control, implementing food safety sanitizing procedures, and coordinating menu planning for diverse dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with a passion for fine dining, catering, and hospitality management to make a significant impact on our team and guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production, preparation, and presentation aligned with established standards
Oversee daily shift management, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive team environment
Manage inventory control by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize costs
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitizing procedures to maintain a safe dining environment
Assist in menu planning and development to enhance guest experience while controlling food costs
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and quality standards are met
Monitor food handling practices and enforce proper hygiene protocols across the kitchen
Support training initiatives related to culinary techniques, food safety, and customer service excellence
Collaborate with management on cost control strategies and operational improvements
Maintain accurate records of inventory, food production metrics, and sanitation compliance

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in fine dining or catering environments
Extensive culinary experience with strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food industry standards
Familiarity with banquet experience, dietary department procedures, and catering operations
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams as a chef or kitchen supervisor
Knowledge of inventory management systems and cost control practices
Strong understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper handling techniques
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy shifts
Experience in menu planning, food service management, and restaurant operations
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests while maintaining professionalism
Commitment to hospitality excellence with a focus on quality service delivery
