FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER WANTED.

For a New Redwood Smoke Shack Location in Virginia

And we need someone who can run the front like it.

We’re growing. New location. Bigger vision. Same standards.

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House Manager who can:

Lead a team with confidence (not ego)
Run high-volume shifts without losing hospitality
Drive sales, PPA & labor like a business owner
Keep standards tight — food, service, cleanliness, culture
Build a team that people want to work with

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Daily Operations

Oversee all FOH shifts. Responsible for every aspect of everyday supervision
Ensure smooth service during peak volume
Maintain Redwood hospitality standards
Resolve guest concerns professionally & fast

Leadership

Train & develop FOH team members
Hold team accountable to performance standards
Create a positive but disciplined work environment
Set the tone every single shift
Take care of stock, staff, and sales management

Business Performance

Labor control & scheduling
Increasing average check & upselling culture
Managing online reviews & guest experience
Hitting revenue targets
Inventory & food ordering

What We’re Looking For

2+ years restaurant management experience
High-volume fast casual or BBQ experience preferred
Strong leadership presence
Detail-oriented & reliable

Redwood Smoke Shack is a Texas inspired BBQ joint continually pushing the envelope with outrageous, mouth-watering specials and handcrafted BBQ that will leave you coming back for more.
At Redwood, we are a Texas inspired BBQ joint. That means large cuts of meat, like brisket, seasoned with just salt and black pepper, and then cooked low and slow over indirect heat using real wood fire bbq pits. Redwood strives to have the best quality products available and partners with purveyors of high quality meat providers such as Prairie Fresh. Redwood is also the only place in Hampton Roads where you can find Texas’ very own Big Red soda on tap. Redwood strives to give you a unique experience from the moment you enter the restaurant. With interactive counter service, you are instantly involved in the selection and assembly of your BBQ meats and sides. With standards such as beef brisket, pulled pork and ribs this is a BBQ lovers dream. To take it one step further, Redwood offers ridiculous daily specials such as the Feast Mode Burger, the Big @$$ Beef Ribs and an assortment of of Pork Belly burnt ends.
