Job Description:
The Reporting Analyst supports data-driven decision making across the organization by developing, maintaining, and improving critical operational, financial, supply-chain, and workforce reporting. This role works closely with owners, directors, and managers to collect, verify, analyze, and present information that enhances visibility, strengthens accountability, and supports strategic and tactical actions.
The Reporting Analyst creates standardized reporting tools, dashboards, and automated data flows; ensures data accuracy and integrity; identifies trends; and provides clear insights that improve capability, capacity, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role integrates systems with business processes, supports performance measurement initiatives, and contributes to continuous improvement across the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal systems such as our ERP, Global Shop Solutions (GSS) to generate accurate and timely reports.
- Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions for leadership and department managers.
- Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that support operational excellence, supply chain performance, production planning, and quality management.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop standardized templates and recurring reports.
- Identify reporting gaps or data integrity issues; recommend and implement improvements to enhance data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Analyze trends in production throughput, labor performance, machine utilization, inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and scrap/rework.
- Support corrective action, continuous improvement, and root-cause analysis initiatives with data-driven evidence.
- Build automated processes that simplify data extraction, transformation, and distribution.
- Maintain documentation of datasets, definitions, data sources, and reporting procedures.
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests, special projects, and senior leadership initiatives requiring accurate and timely reporting.
- Protect sensitive information in compliance with CUI, ITAR, company policies, and data governance requirements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to interpret large, complex data sets.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, lookups).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar).
- Strong understanding of database structures, data flows, and system integrations.
- Ability to translate raw data into meaningful metrics, trends, and recommendations.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to management and plant leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Problem-solving mindset with a continuous-improvement approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and Experience
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Extensive knowledge of GSS is a plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing, production processes, or supply chain workflows.
- Familiarity with KPI development, operational metrics, and performance measurement.
- Basic understanding of aerospace industry requirements, including quality systems (AS9100) and compliance expectations (ITAR), is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance, confidentiality requirements, and reporting controls.
- 2–5 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience creating dashboards, automated reports, and analytical tools.
- Experience supporting operational and cross-functional teams using data-driven insights.
