Full Job Description

CLERK/ ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR 3

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General from higher-level clerical and/or supervisory personnel.

LOCATION OF WORK: Calcasieu Parish Health Unit

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

Routinely, independently and professionally performs several duties simultaneously including interviewing clients, data entry, reports, assessing and collecting fees, answering telephone inquiries, etc. while often serving the public’s initial contract with the Agency.

Prescreen callers to determine programmatic eligibility for participation in WIC, Immunization, Reproductive Health and TB programs.

Work in multiple programs such as the Electronic Health Records program, create batches, enter and update patient data, collect fees, LaWin for the WIC program

Perform outreach in the community for multiple programs.

Use computer and internet programs associated with State programs.

Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, sending faxes and making copies.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Have basic computer skills.

Medical office experience a plus. Two year experience in which clerical work was a major duty is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
