Were adding a CDL professional to our Lake Charles rental team. Youll transport heavy equipment safely and efficiently while using integrated technology that streamlines dispatch, routing, and documentation.
- Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- On-call rotation may occur; additional compensation provided
- Operate within all applicable state and federal transportation laws and company safety policies.
- Transport equipment over assigned routes; drive defensively and deliver on schedule.
- Maneuver truck and trailer precisely into tight loading and unloading zones; follow spotter signals.
- Assist with loading/unloading using appropriate gear; return skids and rigging to designated areas.
- Capture and maintain bills of lading, invoices, and delivery confirmations within T3; turn in documents at route completion.
- Handle routine truck service checks (oil, water, fuel, air) and report issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Stage and arrange trailers in the yard to optimize loading patterns.
- Step in on related tasks as the team needs.
- Professional, courteous communication with customers and teammates at delivery sites.
- Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-moving environment.
- Class A CDL or, where applicable, a chauffeurs license appropriate for vehicle weight.
- Meets DOT requirements, including background, drug screening, and medical qualifications for vehicles over 10,000 lbs.
- 21+ years of age to operate company vehicles.
- Extended periods in the cab; frequent travel to jobsites.
- Lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Clean-shaven may be required to access certain customer locations.
