Full Job Description

ACG is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent specializing in Concrete Restoration to oversee field operations across multiple active projects.

This position will be responsible for supporting foremen and crews, planning manpower and materials, coordinating with Project Managers, solving field issues, maintaining quality and safety standards, and helping keep projects productive and on schedule.

The Lead Superintendent must have strong hands-on concrete restoration experience and be capable of performing the work as needed. They must also be experienced enough to train younger and less-experienced employees, demonstrate proper methods, identify poor workmanship, and help develop stronger field crews.

This is a field-based position that requires regular travel between project sites.

Fluent English and Spanish are required.

Duties

Oversee field operations across multiple concrete restoration jobsites
Supervise and support foremen, laborers, and work crews
Travel between project sites based on project needs and priorities
Plan manpower, materials, equipment, tools, and daily work
Coordinate manpower and resources between jobsites as needed
Coordinate schedules and priorities with ACG Project Managers and the Main Office
Make sure crews have the materials, equipment, tools, and information needed to complete their work
Coordinate material orders, deliveries, equipment, and field supplies
Review drawings, repair details, specifications, and project requirements
Walk jobsites regularly to review progress, workmanship, safety, and production
Identify field issues, delays, material shortages, access problems, and other conditions that may affect the work
Communicate field conditions, changes, delays, and project needs to Project Managers
Track completed work, quantities, manpower, and overall job progress
Maintain field documentation using Fieldwire and Procore
Maintain quality, productivity, organization, and safety standards across crews
Make sure work is performed according to project requirements and proper restoration methods
Communicate with clients, engineers, inspectors, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades as needed
Train younger and less-experienced employees in proper concrete restoration methods
Demonstrate proper work procedures and installation methods as needed
Correct improper workmanship and help employees understand how the work should be performed
Support foremen with difficult repairs, unfamiliar conditions, and production issues
Help develop experienced employees into stronger foremen and field leaders
Perform hands-on concrete restoration work as needed to support crews, demonstrate proper methods, solve field conditions, or help keep projects moving

Required Experience

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with concrete restoration work, including:

Concrete chipping and demolition
Partial-depth concrete repairs
Full-depth concrete repairs
Overhead concrete repairs
Reinforcing steel preparation and installation
Formwork
Concrete placement and finishing
Crack and joint repair
Caulking and joint sealants
Waterproofing
Traffic coating systems
Traffic-bearing and waterproofing membranes
Surface preparation and grinding
Repair material installation

The Lead Superintendent should be able to look at work being performed in the field, determine whether it is being done correctly, and explain or demonstrate the proper method as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of concrete construction or concrete restoration experience
Minimum 3 years of experience leading or managing construction crews
Strong hands-on concrete restoration experience required
Parking garage restoration experience strongly preferred
Experience supervising multiple crews and active jobsites
Fluent in English and Spanish
Ability to read construction drawings, repair details, and specifications
Strong understanding of concrete restoration materials and installation methods
Ability to plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to train and develop field personnel
Ability to identify and correct workmanship and production issues
Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements
Valid driver's license required
Ability and willingness to travel between project sites
OSHA 30 preferred

Compensation & Benefits

$30–$35 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time position
Healthcare eligibility after 90 days
Pension eligibility after 3 years

About the Role

ACG is looking for a dependable, experienced field leader who understands concrete restoration and knows how to manage people, plan work, and solve problems in the field.

The right candidate should be able to move between multiple projects, understand what each job needs, support foremen and crews, make sure manpower and materials are in place, maintain quality and safety standards, and help keep projects moving.

They should also have enough hands-on experience to perform the work as needed and teach others how to do it correctly.

This position is about leading crews, planning the work, teaching the work, and helping get the work done.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
