Regional Business Office Manager
Reports To: VP of Revenue Cycle
Location: Lincolnwood, IL (Regional Travel Required)

Position Overview
Vantage Senior Care is seeking an experienced and highly organized Regional Business Office Manager to support our supportive living communities throughout Chicago and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong Illinois Medicaid knowledge, business office leadership experience, and the ability to oversee multiple communities while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial performance.

The Regional Business Office Manager will partner closely with community Business Office Managers, operations leadership, and corporate teams to support admissions, Medicaid processes, collections, compliance, and overall business office operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review all new admissions to Supportive Living Facilities (SLF) for Medicaid financial eligibility
Ensure Medicaid Pending admissions are approved only after BOM/RBOM review and recommendation
Oversee Medicaid applications, redeterminations, and appeals across assigned communities
Ensure continued Medicaid eligibility for all residents through proper follow-up and compliance
Monitor and ensure compliance for Tax Credit units (AMI requirements, LIHTC, HOME, IHDA)
Prepare and submit monthly reports to Corporate related to pending cases, collections, and operations
Oversee BOM processes, including PAP logs and reporting
Support and oversee move-in processes and business office procedures across communities
Ensure timely and accurate deposits and financial processes are maintained
Work with residents, families, and team members to obtain required documentation
Ensure timely collection of private pay rent and services
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including HFS, DHS, LIHTC, HOME, and IHDA

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Office experience
Minimum 5 years of Medicaid application experience
Minimum 4 years of Business Office Manager experience
Strong knowledge of Illinois Medicaid
Multi-site oversight experience preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Ability to travel up to 90% within Chicago and surrounding areas

Compensation

$70,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experience
