Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Manager to join our dynamic team at Indian Trails 1 & 2! In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring smooth management, exceptional tenant relations, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in property management while making a positive impact on residents’ lives. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help foster a welcoming community environment and uphold the highest standards of property care.

Duties

Manage property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease signing, and move-in/move-out procedures using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure all units and common areas are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards
Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts, and provide excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, and Section 8 guidelines to promote fair and legal housing practices
Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping for lease agreements, legal documents, and maintenance logs
Assist with rent collection, late payment follow-up, and upselling additional services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction
Support legal administrative tasks related to contracts, notices, and compliance documentation in accordance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing and facilities management
Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8 housing programs, Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures
Proficiency with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
Strong customer service skills combined with conflict management and negotiation abilities to foster positive resident relationships
Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts management, and general administrative tasks
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with tenants, vendors, and team members effectively
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
