Qualifications: Minimum of high school diploma. Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office systems. Pleasant telephone voice and manner; ability to greet and assist public with inquiries.

Reports to: Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, checks appointments, and directs or escorts them to proper person.
Operates telephone to relay incoming and outgoing calls.
Answers questions of callers according to school policy; takes messages for staff members; and pages authorized personnel over the intercom system as needed.
Maintains an alphabetical file of staff members; names, room locations, and telephone extensions to expedite relaying calls.
Types correspondence, charts, and such other data as needed. Places and receives telephone calls and records messages to employees.
Works with others consistently in a cooperative and respective manner.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

TERMS: 185 days.

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal.
