Patent Agent - Artificial Intelligence and Software

Salary Range: $100K - $200K, plus full benefits, depending on experience, technical background,

About the Role:
We are seeking a Patent Agent with experience in Artificial Intelligence or Software, ideally with exposure to natural language processing. This role focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications for advanced technologies in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft patent applications for filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office
Evaluate the underlying technology of new inventions
Support patent prosecution strategy and respond to USPTO office actions
Prepare technical analyses and written opinions
Assist with client counseling and portfolio strategy
Provide technical support for litigation and other IP matters

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
USPTO registration number
Prior patent prosecution experience
Professional experience in Artificial Intelligence or Software (NLP experience preferred)
