We’re looking for a social media content writer who can bring authenticity to the brand’s voice for the demographic of females 15-21.

We’re working on the first batch of videos for a new social media channel.

Specifically, we are writing text message videos, which must sound authentic to how young girls text eachother.

He’ll also be asked to work on other content types as well including short stories with captions and podcasts.

A little about ‘For Sophia’

For Sophia began with a simple moment.

One day, while in a deep chat and offering some advice to my daughter, she said, “I wish I could record this.”

That became the foundation for a brand dedicated to creating conversations that can help young people the most—about friendships, relationships, self-worth, difficult decisions, boundaries and growing up.

We’re building a media company for the next generation through short-form content across TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube. Our goal isn’t to lecture or preach. We create relatable moments that help people feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.

Our Content Pillars

You will help create content across several core pillars:

Relationships & Dating – Modern dating, situationships, exclusivity, texting culture, green flags, red flags, and navigating relationships.
Friendships & Social Dynamics – Group chats, falling out with friends, feeling left out, loyalty, boundaries, and social pressure.
Self-Discovery & Emotional Intelligence – Understanding emotions, confidence, self-worth, intuition, and making decisions aligned with who you are.
Life Lessons & Growing Up – Navigating transitions, mistakes, independence, identity, and the moments that shape us.
Entertainment & Relatable Moments – Funny observations, memes, awkward situations, “this is so us” moments, and trend-inspired content.

Examples of the types of content you’ll write:

Text message conversations
Group chats
Voice note scripts
TikTok and Instagram scripts
Story-based posts
Trend adaptations
Hooks and captions
Polls and community engagement prompts

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented young writer (ideally Gen Z) to become a guardian of our brand voice.

Your job is simple:

Make sure everything we publish feels like it came from real life.

You’ll work closely with the founder and creative team to ensure every piece of content feels authentic to people ages 15–21.

You’ll be encouraged to say things like:

“Nobody talks like this.”
“This would never happen.”
“My friends would absolutely share iand save this.”
“I’d stop scrolling for this.”

We value honesty over agreement. Authenticity is everything.

What We’re Looking For

Strong writing and storytelling skills
Deep understanding of Gen Z culture (especially ages 15–21)
Active user of TikTok, Instagram, YT and Snapchat
Some Experience creating or writing social media content
Strong emotional intelligence
Ability to identify trends early
Comfortable giving direct feedback
Organized and able to work independently

Bonus Points

Social media marketing experience
Creative writing, journalism, or communications background
Experience building online communities
Experience with Discord or creator communities
Experience working with creators, influencers, or brands
