Advance transmission growth by shaping, administering, and executing complex generation and interconnection contracts. Requires strong interpersonal abilities to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders critical to advancing the regulated Transmission strategy.

What you'll do:
-
Contribute to the team efforts in negotiation, drafting, and administering of all agreements, including project-related, with a primary focus on generation and transmission interconnection contracts essential to the Company’s growing Transmission portfolio.

Must have working knowledge on regulatory matters and close collaboration across the organization to ensure well-structured, and clearly defined agreements that mitigate risks and enable timely project delivery.

Utilize critical skills in structuring, administering, and executing legal, financial, and operational aspects of agreements.

Participate actively in Mid-Continent Independent System Operator (MISO) activities related to the Transmission Owners requirements and guides the Company on related policy matters.

Contribute to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulatory filings in coordination with MISO and FERC.

Act as a resource and may provide guidance to those with less experience.

Compensation:

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $67,000 - $84,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package, including an Incentive Program, Retirement Benefits, Medical, Dental & Vision Plans, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance, Disability, Tuition Reimbursement, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and more.
