Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Home Care Community Liaison and Outreach Specialist to serve as a vital bridge between our organization and the community. In this role, you will actively promote our home care services, build meaningful relationships with community partners, and engage with residents to enhance awareness and access to quality home health options. Your energetic approach will drive community engagement initiatives, foster trust, and ensure our services reach those who need them most. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while developing your skills in community outreach, public relations, and strategic communication.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive community outreach strategies to raise awareness of home care services across diverse populations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders through media relations, public speaking engagements, and networking events.
Conduct engaging public presentations for community outreach programs to educate residents about available home health options and resources.
Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to promote services effectively, utilizing social media management tools and marketing best practices.
Coordinate volunteer programs and manage community events to foster engagement and support service delivery efforts.
Collect data on community needs, outreach effectiveness, and client feedback to inform strategic planning and improve service delivery.
Prepare clear, compelling written materials including newsletters, reports, press releases, and social media content that resonate with diverse audiences.
Oversee project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling outreach activities, and tracking progress toward community engagement goals.

Skills

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful public presentations and foster strong relationships.
Proven experience in community outreach, social media management, marketing, or public relations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing, data collection, and presentations.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse populations effectively.
Experience in volunteer management, client communication, and customer service to enhance community trust.
Strategic planning capabilities combined with budgeting experience for effective program execution.
Excellent writing skills for creating engaging content tailored for various platforms and audiences.
