Seasonal Tax Preparer in office – Sun City, AZ

Position: Seasonal Tax Preparer (January–April)

We are a growing Sun City tax practice seeking an experienced seasonal tax preparer to assist during the busy tax season.

Responsibilities

- Prepare individual income tax returns (Forms 1040 and related schedules)

- Prepare business tax returns, including Forms 1120S, 1120, and 1065

- Review client documentation for completeness and accuracy

- Communicate with clients regarding missing information

- Identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with current tax laws

- Work closely with our tax professionals to meet filing deadlines

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional tax preparation experience

- Experience preparing both individual and business tax returns

- Proficiency with Drake Tax Software preferred

- Strong knowledge of federal and Arizona tax law

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- PTIN required; Enrolled Agent or CPA is a plus

Compensation

- Competitive hourly pay based on experience

- Overtime available during peak season

- End of season performance bonus available

- Flexible schedule (full-time or part-time considered)
