Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and data entry. Your expertise will support the organization’s operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values precision, integrity, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
Perform bank reconciliations and financial accuracy
Conduct account analysis and double-entry bookkeeping to uphold accounting integrity

Requirements

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within corporate or non-profit organizations
Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
Solid understanding of accounting principles including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
Familiarity with financial concepts like GAAP standards, balance sheet reconciliation, and technical accounting practices
Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel) and other financial software for data analysis and report writing
Ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all financial transactions and recordkeeping
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
